About Us

Clelian Heights, a Roman Catholic licensed, private, non-profit, educational, vocational, and residential facility for children and adults with developmental disabilities is a ministry of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a community of women religious. Founded in 1961, owned and operated by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Clelian Heights is licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the Department of Education and the Department of Human Services Office of Developmental Programs.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Clelian Heights is to provide spiritual, educational, and vocational programs that maximize potential for independent living and enhance quality of life for children and adults with developmental challenges.

Vision Statement

The vision of Clelian Heights is to provide an atmosphere of choice and mutual acceptance, respect, and love that will make a lasting difference in the lives of persons with developmental disabilities.
