Clelian Heights Extended School Year Program
Independent of the traditional school year program, there is also a four-week Extended School Year Program. This focuses on social and recreational activities as well as functional academics. The combination of community and campus-based activities allows for generalization of skills. It decreases the likelihood of regression in previously learned skills and behaviors, which many students often exhibit after a prolonged absence of structured programming.
It also allows local and out-of-state high school and college students who are on break to have a mentoring experience with the Clelian students.
